Does anyone know how to set a ringtone using a piece of music on the phone currently?

Your Mac's Specs
Mac Mini i5 (2014 High Sierra), iPhone X, Apple Watch, iPad Pro 12.9, AppleTV (4)
It needs converting to .m4r and limiting to 30 seconds max.

Not something that can be done in-situ.

On your Mac or PC open the track in Adapter and convert to ringtone, it'll add it into iTunes and let you sync it back to your phone
