Hi,

My keyboard keys do not match what it is typing on the screen.
I'm using my iPad to post this message.

I replaced my HD and reinstalled Mac OS, but now my keyboard is not configured correctly.

I purchased this MacBookPro in another country so the layout is not the same as the ones with English keyboards.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

MM

What country did you purchase your MacBook Pro in and what country's keyboard layout did it come with? If your MacBook Pro has other than an English Keyboard, you can not change it back to English without replacing the keyboard.

Keyboard

Yes, I think that is the problem. It had a Mac OS in Spanish before and now I installed Mac OSX in English.

The keyboard I was using was Spanish but now I think is working with the Spanis-ISO keyboard.

You'll either have to learn the English equivalent keys or else change out the keyboard for an English one. You may be able to buy an English overlay for the keyboard. If you can find one, that would be the simplest solution.
