attach files using yahoo mail

I just bought a new MacBook Air and am having difficulties attaching files using yahoo mail. I get the pop up that states, There was a problem, Invalid file please try again.

Any suggestions??

Any particular reason why you don't just add your Yahoo email account to a real email program like Mail?
