Anyone else been noticing how slow this forum is? Not just today, but over the last few months I've noticed a slowdown. Other large forum sites don't load nearly as slow as this one does, and this one seems to be consistent and not directly tied to net traffic as I have seen at other forums.

Is it just me?

Like I said, other large sites load much faster than here (iLounge, MacRumors, TAZ etc). How would resetting my browser help ONLY this site?

I've not noticed any problem whatsoever. It may just be your computer or your connection. Talk to your ISP, it may be a routing issue on their end.

It isn't uncommon for me to not be able to load the site at all, probably a routing issue on my end though. I'll click my bookmark to it, then I'll get the error http://www.mac-forums.com/ can no be found, please check the name and try again.

I get the same thing as mynameis from time to time. It's not all the time but usually once or twice in a day and it will usually time out. SBC DSL on this end.

That's what I thought. When the site is not being slow, it often does that. I don't think it's my ISP though. It happens to me at work (slowness and not loading) and I've had issues at places like CompUSA and BestBuy, even Apple stores, as well. Seems to me that if even more than just a few of us are seeing some of these issues, it's kind of hard to blame on ISPs,
