sports device on mac

i have downloaded an exe program using wine bottler and software is working. the device connected to it is not working though. communication problem. is this the device driver not working?

Since you didn't provide us with any information about the device or anything else for that matter, my guess is that WINE can not activate the device driver - that is, if you even have one.

yes sorry for lack of info! i was suffering from frustration at the time and was about to throw the jumpmat and mac out the window!

its a jumpmat (jumper) made by www.fitronic.sk/ , i have the software downloaded but its coming up communication error. i have made contact with someone who uses it on the mac but he uses parallels and windows 7. i dont really want to go to the expense of buying this software as i have a pc in the house and it already has windows installed. i just have the macbook air for the jump mat as it is so small. only problem is i cant get it running! im a total mac novice i have to let you know! thanks for your time
