Mail

I recently installed Mountain Lion. How do I delete mail BEFORE I open it? When I click on the message, it opens right away.

1. Grab the message (don't click on it, click-and-hold) and drag to trash.

2. Alternatively, you can close the preview window by double-clicking the bar that separates it from the message list. Now you will have to double-click an email to see it, and it will only open in a new window.
