I have been dealing with this problem well over a month now and have not been able to resolve my problem. I am running Windows 7 with BootCamp 3.3 on my MacBook Pro. Here is my Hardware Overview:
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro4,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 800 MHz
Boot ROM Version: MBP41.00C1.B03
SMC Version (system): 1.27f3
Serial Number (system):
Hardware UUID: 3CEC84BB-3C17-5B04-85BC-6280022CBAE6
Sudden Motion Sensor:
State: Enabled
I even added 2 GB of memory to my original 2 GB system and this did not help. When I am running a application or Windows 7 is just setting idle my MacBook Pro will just turn off and I have to use the power button to start windows again with a new boot. All the documentation I have read clearly states my hardware configuration will support Windows 7. Any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Neal
