How do I place all my Network drives on the Desktop for easy access?

you can drag network drives into the login items in system preferences > Users and groups to get them to mount when you login

Alternatively, if you have already mounted the drives once they are easily accessible under  menu > recent items > Servers

Thank you louishen, I tried that as first step, but as you release the drive,it snaps back to it's original position. I must have "permissions" set improperly somewhere. Oh, and I noticed the drives were not mounted, so I repeated the process, but they also do not show up in Finder.
