hdmi no audio

G4 mirror door,PPC, OS 10.4.11.
Adapter from DVI to hdmi. to TV
Video OK up to 1200 x 1000.
Mute.
The answer is that DVI has no audio.
Is there an adapter for adding audio to DVI or hdmi?

Your Mac's Specs
2017 27" iMac, 10.5" iPad Pro, iPhone 8, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, Numerous iPods, Monterey
No adapter. You need a separate audio cable from your G4 to the TV. Only late model Intel Macs provide audio out along with video. Your machine does not.
