Hello! :) I just thought it would be interesting for people to list their favorite apps of these categories:

1. Web browser:
2. Mail client:
3. Productivity software - like MS Office or iWork etc:
4. Game - if you have one:

these are mine :) feel free to enter yours, thought it would be cool just to get to know more apps that other people might use.

1. Google Chrome
2. G-Mail Web Browser Client :( I really don't like mail or outlook :/ anyone know any other good ones?
3. MS Office and iWork.
4. Nope but looking! :)

OK...I'll play

1 - I use Safari ONLY...it performs well for all I need it to. I know nothing of your computer experience or needs. So Your Mileage MAY Vary because you more than likely have different requirements/expectations.
2 - Outlook...I like the layout and I appreciate the familiarity/compatibility when going back and forth between Windoze at the day job and the Mac at home and the studio.
3 - Logic 9, Garageband, Aperture, MS Office 2011 for Mac
4 - No games...just a few music theory, ear training apps. These are games for me.

Office 2011 --- 'coz I was not aware that apple has iWork. It should have been the other way around.

Safari -- I have copies of other browsers, but IMO none are any better, just different.
Mail -- I've tried the rest, but stuck with the best.
Productivity software for me includes Keynote, various word processors, Cyberduck, Notes and Reminders.
Games -- I mostly game on the iPad these days, but on occasion I will fire up Bookworm or 4 Elements on the Mac.

1. Chrome-- I use it on a Mac, 2PCs and sometimes an iPad and all my tabs, extensions, etc are synced.

2. Gmail's web browser client/mail on iOS. I'd use mail on OSX as well but have had trouble in the past with it not syncing which messages are read and which aren't.

3. OpenOffice, or, more commonly, MS office 2013 preview on windows.

2. Mail client:
3. Productivity software - like MS Office or iWork etc:
4. Game - if you have one:

1. Safari - havent needed any other ones. Most of my web surfing takes place on my iPad, though, so very little happens on the MBP.
2. Outlook 2011 - my email is hosted on a MS Exchange Server (for the last 8 or so years). All my devices (MBP, iPad and iPhone are all sync'd flawlessly)
3. MS Office for Mac 2011
4. WoW - when I have time to play, that is.
