I'm looking for a new hard drive to put in my black MacBook (10,4) around 150 GB.

Is there a specific kind I should get for my particular brand of Mac? Can I get one at 150 GB (I don't need a lot of storage space)? What is the most reliable kind to get?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

No particular brand as long as the new hard drive is SATA, 2.5" wide, and no more than 9.5 MM thick. Other World Computing has a complete line of hard drives for Macs. Here is the LINK to their on line store. I doubt you'll be able to find a drive smaller than 320 GB though....

Also take a look at the seagate momentus product. Reviews on Amazon look good - If I don't replace my iMac with a new model (or if the rumored new model doesn't appear soon) I'm very likely to fit one of these to replace my defunct internal hard drive.

I just replaced my internal hardrive with the 120GB OWC (SATA, 2.5" wide, and no more than 9.5 MM thick). Worked like a charm. Thanks for the input!
