Im currently maxed out on my speed for where I live and am waiting until I can upgrade to 3mbps. The best part is no matter high I up the speed to it will always be 30$ per month.

I have road runner through brighthouse in Indianapolis...
Now they have Road Runner Premium thats 8mbps.

looks like cable is still in the lead....he might of ment 4-7 megs, 47megs is like beyond T4....crazzieness!

Yea to bad the fastest package they offer is 8mb download.

I have cox cable premium service $54 month gives you 9mb down 1mb up. its worth the $15/mo upgrade over regular service but regular service aint bad 5mb down/ 512 up

SBC DSL.... 1.5mb Down, 300kb Up... Kinda sucks, but it is ok for everyday web browsing, not sure what the price is per month, But I know it is under $36

:) Sorry about that. its 4.7 Megs - used to say 4700kbps. Amazing what confusion a little period can cause haha

I work for a DSL provider so I use cable. Knowledge makes you warry. Of course if I worked for cable I'd prolly not want to use it either, I've just have very few problems (2) with my cable in four years and fix DSL and windows all day long, so I'm biased.

I have Adelphia HSI but Adelphia are switch to Time Warner Cable/RoadRunner soon. I have no problems with Adelphia.

I have DI-624 with Adelphia.

I have a 100Mb connection over optic fiber. It is terribly fast!
The next step here (in Japan) are 1Gb connections. The prices are really good too: I'm paying around $64 for a 100Mb connection, plus phone, plus cable TV. Not bad at all...
