If Apple planned to design touchscreen iMac, would you support or Not?

Just like HP All-in-One TouchSmart pc.

Absolutely not. Dumbest idea of all time.

Besides, every Mac is already a touchscreen Mac -- with a Magic Trackpad, the *right* solution to that "issue."

Absolutely not. The magic trackpad is all I want. I don't mind touch on my phone or iPad, where they are horizontal, but I don't want anything to do with it on my computer.

No way...after a couple of glasses of red on a Saturday night the thing'll be rocking on it's stand like one-legged roofer...

Touch screens on desktop computers always seemed like a gimmick to me. It is cool in theory but in practice, reaching out to touch a vertical or near-vertical screen would be terrible on the wrists.

My chiropractor has the HP touch-screen all-in-one. He loves it, but he has very specific circumstances. It is on a stand next to his exam table and he is always standing when he uses it. So his arms aren't at a horizontal reach and he isn't using it for more than a few seconds at a time.
But, for your average computer user it is such a horrible idea.

My mom has an iPad (2) and loves it. When her laptop died, she got an HP touchscreen desktop because it had a touch interface. She has never put finger to screen, saying it just didnt make sense, especially sitting at a desk.

Now, there are times where I would like to see a touch screen desktop like the HP or iMac, especially for doing photos and video and CAD, but I would have to have it sitting at an angle, just like a drafting table. That would be fine, but for just sitting at a desk, nope.

Way... way too many specs to list.
Nope, not one bit. Even as a wacom user, that'd drive me nuts. Although.. I lust after a Cintique.

Dual 27" iPad!

Probably need some sort of special mounting bracket for that!;)

If you've ever seen some of the keyboard/piano apps. for the iPad…two 27" iPads mounted side by side would be like having a full sized 88-key piano/keyboard on your lap!

One for the left hand…and one for the right hand.:)

You could have probably posted it unless it was a total insult to staff. :D A joke I can take from a good member here. :D

That was not meant in a bad way. think how heavy dual 27" screens would be. Some users here gripe about the weight of a 17" MBP in their laps! That was the point.

You can PM me the response if you want. Might be funny to read!

It was crude, barely high school, humor, that's all. As for weight, yeah, a bit heavy. I love my 17".
