edit photo in external application using iPhoto

Your Mac's Specs
Mac OS X V. 10.6.8
* I have MacBook Pro laptop, OSX 10.8.2, and iPhoto '11 v.9.4.1
* My iPhone is 4S, with IOS 6.
* I have Camera+ v. 3.5.1 (created by tap tap tap) on both my iPhone and MacBook Pro.

My Problem: In iPhoto I go to Preferences/Advanced, and select Edit in Camera+. Next, I select a photo to edit, and click on the edit icon near the bottom of the iPhoto window.

Nothing happens. It does not open for editing in Camera+ App or anywhere else.

Any advice?

Of course not. You may have a copy of the **iOS** app Camera+ STORED on your MBP, but it's still an **iOS** app and will not run under OS X. Two different operating systems.

So of course this does not work.
