Is there a Mac program that will let me make segments of my "home" movies? (Using one of my two hour home movies and creating several ten, fifteen, etc... minute movies).

Here's one example of how I have done this in the past.. ATPM 12.03 - How To: Performing a Video Extraction If you have iMovie you could also use a program like Handbreak to convert the movies to a format iMovie can understand. Then edit in iMovie and save.
