Selecting the File at the Bottom in Finder with Just the Keyboard

In the Finder, with the topmost file selected, I can scroll to the last file in the list using just the keyboard. However, when I press the down-arrow key, the Finder selects the second file in the list, not the last file, or anything else near the bottom of the list.

The only ways I know to select the last file are using the mouse, or holding the down-arrow key (and holding...and holding) until the last file is selected.

I strongly prefer using the keyboard whenever I can. Is there an efficient way (perhaps using Quicksilver?) to select the last file in the list, using only the keyboard?

Thanks.

Regards,
Jim

Option + Up/Down will do the trick.

Thanks, vansmith.

I thought I had tried every key combination, but that seems to do it!
