Hi there, I've got a newbie question about a application restores that hopefully someone can help with.
My old MacBook met a wet and sticky end when a cup of coffee was spilt all over it
I've kept a copy of all my documents on usb stick but stupidly had never backed up the system and applications.
I've now bought a new Macbook and I've salaveged the hard disk from the old one to connect it as an extrenal drive via usb.
So my question is, what is the best way to copy the applications from the old disk to the new Mac? Can I just use finder to shift them over from the old disk to the /applications directory or will this miss out key system files etc?
Any guidance or ideas on how best to do this will be greatly appreciated
