Apple Mail

I was hoping someone might be able to help me. I am using Apple mail and whenever I try to send a photo attatchment, The apple mail program decides to resize it. The same happens when I recieve an email with pictures attatched to it. Is there a way to make this program work so If I want to send or recieve a 5mb photo, I can.

Please help me lol.

Under the address information there should be a drop menu that lets you choose a size for the image(s): large, medium, small and actual size.

When you view a photo within a mail message, it may be just preview-sized. Click the Quick Look button under the date (you may need to click on "Show Details") or download the image to get a more accurate view of it.
