<!-- PreprocessInfo: BTSA007:RR1BLDA112, -- Version: 13,500,20764,0 --> I get this on my Hotmail sign-in page. Has anyone seen this and what does it mean?

It means nothing to you, the <!-- --> means that it's an HTML comment and as such is something the coders of Hotmail put in there for their own purpose. You should, technically, not be seeing it at all. So reload the page and go on your merry way..

As Raz0rEdge noted, that is a comment and is something that should be ignored in the rendering process. However, it appears that Firefox (particularly older versions) seem to be misinterpreting this comment and printing it to the page (see here for instance). If you're using Firefox, make sure it's up to date.

If you're using Tiger and you have a PowerPC Mac, take a look at TenFourFox. That should give you a more up to date version of Firefox to use.
