I name a few events the same names, for example "Birthday", and I want all the birthday events from different dates to be in the same place, but when I merge them they all become event Birthday.

Is there away of splitting an event within an event? For example: when I click event Birthday I want to be able to pick one particular birthday from particular date. Say in the Birthday event, I have birthday 2/5/2010, 5/6/2011, 3/5/2012, 5/5/2012, etc. I can see on top it said Birthday February 2,2010 - May 5,2012, but I can just pick the batch from a specific birthday.

Thank you

You can't make events within an event. What you want to do is make albums within an album. If you make a Smart album, even better. For example: make an album that auto-adds all photos from the Birthday event. Make sub-albums that contain only photos from the Birthday album that match a specific date or range of dates.
