Hi there, Im a product design student looking for a new printer, I need something that produces nice quality prints of renders etc but really needs to cost around the £50 mark. Ive heard that Kodak printers are the best for ink economy, are they any good with macs?

Yes, Kodak printers work fine with Macs, in fact, when they first got into the business, their reps were here promoting them specifically to a Mac-using audience. That said, I'd be concerned about support as Kodak is deep in bankruptcy and has been selling off their various divisions.

Personally, I would recommend the Epson Artisan series. The ink is relatively well-priced (refillable - or you can get an ink well system for it) and the quality is outstanding.
