Hello members of the forum,
Recently I have purchased the new Retina display MBP. Due to a requirement from my university I have installed bootcamp by creating a windows partition. Next thing I did ofcourse, as I had a lot of time was to try and download a quite graphics-demanding game to test my graphic card and the amazing retina screen. I went and downloaded Aion. After hours of downloading (13GB) and installing, whilst launching the game, an error popped up that my Direct X has to be from June 2008 or later.
I googled the issue only to be answered by a little guide of downloading several files to install direct x 9.0c. Note that the I checked that my MBP had Direct X11. Afterwards, I have restarted the computer, but it wouldn't load up. The Mac partition worked perfectly, but once trying to boot the windows partition, the screen is stuck at the screen where there is the white blinking "_" on the top left corner. I don't know what to do, I can re-install Windows 7, but wanted to give some time to the forum perhaps some of you might know how to fix this!
Best Regards,
Jacob.
