Vodafone internet key ....6Z

Hi guys i hope i'm in the right place, i'm a newb so please do apologize if i do something wrong!
I would need you guys to help me to install my new Vodafone internet key ....6Z on my Macbook with OSX 10.5.8.
I mean, i can install the software, the key is recognized but the "connect" button remains inactive. I've downloaded all possible updates from the Vodafone website, installed and removed the software 100 times but nothing happens.
On my Imac with OSX 10.6.8 instead the internet key works perfectly without any particular update, so the problem is in the Macbook, but where?
Does anyone have any suggestion before i get completely crazy?

It sounds like the software is not compatible with Leopard. Why don't you upgrade your MacBook to Snow Leopard to see if that works?

Well yes, that's a good idea. Actually it should be compatible, as the key should support also the OSX 10.5.8. In any case i think that's the only solution. Is this upgrade still possible or do i have to jump to the Lion OS? Thanx!

You may have to call Apple direct to order Snow Leopard as it's not available in stores for sale. I believe Apple still has it for $29.99 plus shipping cost.
