A friend brought over her Mac Book Pro for me to take a look at it because it was not powering up. I opened the back and saw corrosion on the surface of the motherboard that looked like it had water damage. Is there any way to repair this?
If corrosion has already set in, there's some good damage there. You can try some rubbing alcohol and clean up the innards and see if it does anything. Otherwise replacements of parts is your only bet..
