Iphoto issue

Iphoto issue-New development-see 5th post

I ran into trouble with IPhoto today. The program kept quitting and it finally wanted to rebuild. Now when I open it it is like starting over asking about importing photos. I thought I lost 78gb of pictures (fortunately I back-up regularly), but in my iPhoto picture file it still shows the file size of 78gb, but it will not open.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Have you run Repair Permissions and re-boot ?

I have.

I even tried to import the photo file into IPhoto, but it is greyed out. But is still shows 78gb in size.

New development

I tried to sync my iPod and it tells me I cannot because the required file cannot be found, yet I can open ITunes and everything is there.
