Unfortunately there is no easy way to do this.
Just copying and pasting the hotmail contacts into your addressbook.
From there you can setup the contacts in Mail.

Sorry to disagree but you can go to contacts in the hotmail online interface and export them to a CSV (comma seperate values) file. You can then import this into your Mac contacts
