Another switcher here,
Great site.My pc also died,I took the big step up-I think:Lips-Are-Sealed:
Mines a 15" pro with the smaller hard drive.
I have a question...one of many to follow...
Mine came with 0 discs.
Is this normal?

Yes, it's normal. From OS X 10.7 (Lion) onward the operating system is provided without disks. The operating system is downloaded direct from Apple via the Mac App store. Your hard drive has a "Recovery" partition included which you can boot to by pressing Command + R during the boot cycle. The Recovery partition is used for maintenance and repair plus it can also be used to re-download the operating system if the need should arise. Apple also sells a Lion bootable flash drive for $69 direct. They may also do the same for Mountain Lion but we don't know that for sure.
