Hi everyone

After my last question and some very helpful advice on external storage and partitioning, I've gone and got myself a 2TB external drive.

I want to use this (across two partitions) for Time Machine and for storage of media (movies etc). However I am getting very confused about what format the disc should be in. Do I format the whole disc as Extended journaled or have the Time Machine partition only as Extended Journaled and the media storage as Extended only - or does it make a difference?

I'm still a little confused as to what the difference is!

Again thanks for your advice in advance
