Is setting up MS Office email easy to do or do I need a tech to do this for me? Also, how do I get MobileMe? Can someone explain what it does and why would I want it? Can I install it on my smartphone?

Office 2011 comes with Outlook which is, relatively speaking, no more difficult (or easy) than any other email client to set up. As for whether or not you need a tech to do it, only you can answer that. Have you ever set up an email client before?

MobileMe no longer exists. It has been superseded by iCloud. Do you need it? No, you don't need a cloud service but they can be handy if what they offer seems helpful. Here's some more information. In short, it's a service that helps to keep your content in sync across devices including your iOS devices (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch).

Setting up Outlook (the email program that comes with Microsoft Office) is not difficult. But, before you do so, you should make sure you have all your connection information (email username, password, and server) handy because you'll need to provide that information to the program.

MobileMe is now iCloud. You can learn more about it at here. To register, you'll need a Mac or an iOS device (iPad, iPhone, or iPod).

On a Mac, go to System Preferences > iCloud
