os 10.5.8 to os 10.6.8

hello

i have a mac pro book bought in USA [ 2007 ] with OS 10.5.0
up dated until 10.5.8.
then actually in France i had the machine set to 10.6 .8 a french version

so now i find a long list of permissions to be repaired !

is there a problem developping there

Not necessarily. There are a number of things that coould cause a long list of permissions errorsIn fact, if I remember correctly some versions of 10.6 had files that showed as needing permission repairs even if the repairs had just been made.

How long a list is it?

Just ignore them. Do a search and you will find an Apple article on on those SUDO repairs etc.
