Page icon with ampersand

on the bottom of my screen (but not on my dock ) I have a permanent icon that looks like a page with an ampersand on it. When I click on it sends me to Spotify a web site I use.How can I get rid of this annoying Icon ? Please help. Thanks ahead of time for any suggestions.

First make sure that nothing from Spotify or Spotify itself is running. Then drag the icon to the trash.
