iPod Reminders

I may have used Reminders once on my iPod. Now when I open that app the list is entitled "Completed" but there is nothing else there, and there is no plus sign for writing anything. There are no other lists. When I press Date it goes to a page with today's date, and I can navigate to other dates but cannot type any test anywhere.
