As of today I am experiencing difficulty with my MAC - Safari operating systems and the MAC is some 7 years old.

Logging on okay but when I surf internet after a short period of time a grey mist comes down and cover the screen and a Black Box superimposed advising to switch power of and re-boot and is in 3 Languages ( English is one).

Have re-booted 5 times and same error re-occurs.

Just joined website and welcome the experience/knowledge out there to assist myself resolving the issue.

Many Thanks

Welcome to Mac-Forums

You are experiencing a Kernel Panic. You say the Mac is 7 years old..so this must be a G4/G5 Mac? What version of OS X are you running on it and is it updated to the latest version?

When did this issue start to happen?

Ahem! My Mini is 7 years old. How time flies! ;)
Oops! Not quite; just going on 5. Bought it in 2007, which must have confused me.

If this behavior is persistent (black screen, must restart) it might be time for a new computer.

Have you tried checking the RAM? If it's the 5.1 iMac is under a door on the bottom of the computer under the screen. How many Dimm's are installed? Try taking one out if there is more than one. Have you installed any new RAM since purchasing the machine?
