I installed Windows 7 through Boot Camp in my MacBook Pro Mid 2012 model. In Windows, Bluetooth doesn't seem to work properly at all. It detects devices and then adds them but can't transfer files or anything. It works perfectly in OS X. If I am working in Windows and I have to transfer some files via Bluetooth, then I am forced to restart my Mac and boot into OS X. Any solutions?

Have you installed the driver package that you downloaded during setup with the Bootcamp Assistant?

Yes sir! There was an executable in the WindowsSupport folder called setup.exe which installed everything.

It sounds like a Windows issue. Is bootcamp up to date? All Windows updates installed?

All updates installed. I tried again now. Still doesn't work. The device is paired but then it is useless. The phone can't connect. And if I click on the device in Devices and Printers, it shows me properties. I have tried with a Samsung Galaxy Fit, Samsung C3053 and Sony Ericsson W580i. I could transfer files from these 3 phones in my old Lenovo (2011 model - G550). It works in OSX too in my MacBook but not in Windows :(

Yes sir! There was an executable in the WindowsSupport folder called setup.exe which installed everything.

Was this from the downloaded driver package or from an OSX disc?

Downloaded driver package.

And the specs are 15", Mid 2012 MacBook Pro, non-retina and the 8GB RAM model

Thanks for the personal message but it's best to keep all discussions public to maybe help others in the future.

I'd suggest trying a third party adapter just to see if a new bluetooth stack would resolve the issue.

Aside from that there are some good suggestions for general bootcamp bluetooth troubleshooting here:

Any Windows 7 supported bluetooth adapter would do. You can pick them up for peanuts on eBay/Amazon etc. Or borrow one for troubleshooting purposes.

But why not run through the trouble shooting on the Apple forum (posted above) first?

And mrplow, do you know how to make Windows 7 detect the inbuilt Intel HD Graphics driver?

Again all this gets installed automatically with the bootcamp driver package. I'd suggest running the bootcamp assistant again and getting a fresh download of the driver package
