Is there an app to link my I pad to Mac book pro for a presentation

I've been searching for a way to link my I pad 2 to my Mac book pro 17" so I can control a presentation on my mac book, from anywhere in the room, via my I pad. Does such an app exist?

Are you talking to control an app on your Mac or display something from your iPad on your Mac?

If controlling an app on your Mac, there are tons of them - ranging from application specific packages (like Apples keynote remote app or Powerpoint remote control apps) to generic ones (like Snatch Pro or something similar).

I use Keynote Remote from the App Store to control all my Keynote presentations (I would not use any other slideshow program). Works flawlessly.
