Loss of WiFi

Hi,
when I try to access airport, I get the message at the bottom of the tab Status: no airport hardware found, the hardware is there, how can I solve this problem please.:'(

Try resetting the PRAM. Turn the machine off, turn it back on. Immediately press and hold the following key combo:

Command+Option+P+R. Continue holding until you hear the system chime twice. Release it and the machine will boot as normal.

This worked for a friend of mine on a white MacBook (2007 vintage) - hope it does for you as well - otherwise, I'm thinking you may need to do a bit of surgery.
