I am fairly new to computing and apologies if this question appears to be :Blushing: basic stuff. I have recently bought an iMac and I have also purchased MacKeeper. Is this expense necessary or can these problems be fixed using software installed on my iMac.

Do a search on the forums for MacKeeper. You will find that most here do not like it and all and it's caused many issues for many. I would return it if you can. Others will probably tell you even more.
