- MBA 13" 2012, 1.8GHz Core i5, 8GB RAM, OSX 10.10.5
Have 11" MBA 2011, been great but noticed slowdown recently; suppose running Parallels, video, general web stuff is expecting too much from 2GB RAM? Frequently seeing red warning in 'Free Memory' app. Upgraded SSD to 128GB OWC but fear this was unwise with the RAM limitation- am I right or not?
Anyway will get the 13" MBA + 8GB RAM when Mountain Lion is released, surely this will overcome limitations? Tempted by the new Windoze ultrabooks (imitation sincerest form of flattery) but cost about the same, so probably stick with Apple...
UPDATE- was using wi-fi but due to poor video viewing have tried cable connection via USB. Now far WORSE! What is going on here? I'm frustrated! Can anyone help?
