I've been an avid user/programmer/designer with Windows forever, now I have decided to become a part of the Mac world! I'm not a beginner but I thought I would just stop by and say Hi.

However I wanted to ask you guys what the best programming program is to use for mac. I am learning C# now. Any suggestions?

with particular regard to the chart. Note where C# is on that.

Anyway, the standard programming editor for the Mac is Xcode, but OS X supports almost all languages so finding a text editor and compiler etc isn't difficult and there are lots of options. For building Mac apps, Xcode is definitely the way to go.

And Xcode is free from the App store, so you can't go wrong really.
