lost bookmarks in safari

We're going to need a little more detail. Which browser are we talking about? Are all bookmarks lost or just some? Any other details you can provide about what might have lead to this would also help.

Were they lost after you imported them or did you import them and can't find them? If it's the latter, go to Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks. They should be listed under "BOOKMARKS" in a folder with the date that they were imported. Once there, drag them to your bookmark bar or menu as you desire.
