Hi,
My MacBook Pro was stolen in January and my iPhone has hundreds and hundreds of old photos on it and a few songs which were synched from the old laptop. Today I brought home a new shiny MacBook Pro with retina display (patience has its virtue when it comes to waiting to spend your insurance voucher!). I'd like to update my iPhone by plugging it in to the new laptop, but will all the photos and songs disappear? Everything is backed up via the cloud, but how do I get the photos back from the phone onto iPhoto on the laptop? Is this even possible?
And while I'm here, can anyone in the UK suggest a good insurer which would insure my new laptop, I'm looking for contents insurance, not home insurance.
Thanks in advance!
Kim
