Sound problem with bootcamp windows

I have installed windows 7- 64bit OS via boot camp on my iMac running OS X Snow Leopard
I have sound when booting into the mac side.
No sound on the windows side.
I have worked on this all day
There must be a way!!! :'(

Did you install the Windows drivers from your Snow Leopard DVD according to the Boot Camp instructions? After the drivers are installed, run the Apple Boot Camp software update from Windows. (Control Panel, Boot Camp)
