My iMac (2010) OS 10.5.8 can't 'see' my Lacie 250 gig external hard drive.
Yup, it on and patched. In use as a Time Machine HD for the past few years. I got a notice that said TM has not backed up for 13 days.

We'll need more information. What version iMac, OS, Lacie? WHat have you tried? Any error messages? And of course the first question: Is the Lacie plugged in?

Are you sure you have a 2010 iMac? The 2010 iMac came pre-installed with Snow Leopard 10.6.3. You can't run Leopard on it. (Or perhaps you meant to say 10.6.8?)

Is the hard driver formatted into the correct format? Mac OS X Extended (Journal) I believe is the correct format for OS X.

Does it show in Disk Utility? If so select it and click on the Mount button and see if that helps.
