I am currently on my first trip with my macbook pro and when I unplugged my power adapter to travel, I didn't realize that the corner piece stayed in the outlet. I am now out of state with no poworking charger. I spoke to the apple store where I currently am, and they only sell the whole power adapter, not just the corner piece with the AC prongs. Any other way to charge the macbook pro or any other suggestions? I am hesitant to use an aftermarket piece....are they safe?

Most aftermarket power adapters will work OK. Since it's only going to be temporary until you return home it should be al right to use. Keep your eye on it for overheating just in case.
