Hi all, hope you can help.

I have looked through the forum but can’t see a similar problem to mine.

When I write an email, sometimes the address does not automatically appear when start to type the recipient. I then have to go to address book and copy/paste the address. That’s when the address comes up!!!!!

Any ideas????
:(

Could the same email address be attached to multiple contacts? I've had problems like that in relation to phone numbers in the past.

In the case of multiple similar contacts, it can take a moment for Mail to pull up the relevant contact candidates, particularly on slower or low-RAM machines as well.

An easy test for this: start typing your own email address, just the first two or three letters. Then wait. See what happens.
