I'm new to Garage Band but I've worked with other audio software in the past. I'm trying to edit a file in Garage Band, mostly just cutting at this point, so I have two questions. One: is there a way to put down two markers and cut the file in between? I am just using CMD + T to split, and it doesn't always work, and it seems like I can't get it as accurately and closely as I want. Is there anyway to select what I want to delete or cut?
My second question is, every time I try to cut/split in the editing section of GB, a popup says "Enable Follow Tempo & Pitch? In order to make timing edits....this must be enabled" and I'm not even sure what it's doing. I guess I'm trying to select the sections I want to cut, but instead it's reducing the sound to nothing.
AHHH, help! Thanks!
