bookmarks

While browsing the net the other day, my cat jumped onto my lap and landed on the laptop keyboard. In doing so she wiped all the bookmarks off the screen. I do not know what she did, obviously, but would like to get them back. Can any one suggest any ways of doing this please.

LOL - i´m with you, cats seem to love jumping over/on the mac keyboards!
have a look at safari --> preferences, click on the "bookmark" menu.
does it have the right boxes still ticked?

Open Time Machine, restore the bookmarks file.

Thanks for the advise TheMacMania, I tried what you said, to no avail. I went to the apple shop in Meadowhall earlier today, but alas, they said it had gone forever. I now have to start building a list from scratch.
I also looked at the other thing suggested and all the boxes are ticked, so no joy there either.
