I did a quick search but I couldn’t find anything but anyways I bought my first apple product a couple days ago a mac mini 2011 Apple Mac mini Desktop Core i5 2.3GHz 2GB 500GB I’m wondering if I can upgrade the ram to a 16gb? On the apple support site it says it can only go up to 8gb but on Other World Computing they have kits for 16gb I just want to make sure before I buy the 16gb kit thanks!

Apple only officially supports 8GB, but OWC tests and will only list the higher amount if it works.

If OWC sells a 16GB kit that matches your computer model, it works.
