Hello
I have a macbook pro, with 4Gb RAM, 2.2 GHz, intel core i7.
I need to install windows to run a software I need in my job. I have a windows 7 license, so should I install windows 7 32bit or 64 bit??? I'm planning to install windows as a virtual machine, using vmWare.

I want to run windows smoothly, so what do you think?? 32 or 64 bits?

please advise

Thanks

with a 4 gig machine you could only give VM ware perhaps 3 gig max, so there is little point in 64 bit windows unless you get more RAM

Go with 64bit so down the road when you spend $45 to upgrade to 8GB of RAM you are ready and don't have to reinstall.

which version of Windows 7 to install for Fuion on an iMac with 4 Gb RAM

That is, if one is to upgrade... I have to make a decision since I am to install Fusion VMware and I need to install a Windows 7 version (64? 32?)

Which?

You have all the advice you need. Use 32 bits if you never plan to upgrade RAM beyond 4 GB. Use 64 if you might do so.

Cheers
