TCP/IP admin password

I got given an iMac with OS9 on it but the person left a password on the tcp/ip settings as such I cannot change those settings, is there a way around this?

as far as im aware you would have to reset the password with the original OS9 CD is you have that?

I don't know, since it has been a long time since i used OS 9. If the person did not turn on mult user. Then the system is basically wide open. I just don't know what file to delete.

Nah no cd, just computer

rman, the system is wide open otherwise, since it was in a school, they used to haev some protective software but he disabled that for me
